Rob Talbot is a photographer of the British
heritage: landscapes, buildings, and monuments.
This typical shot is from his 1995 book
English Landscapes for which Robin Whiteman supplied the words.
From his work I learned about the effort, persistence, and patience
that this kind of photography needs. He has trekked over almost the whole of
the British Isles carrying various heavy cameras like the Fuji GX680, and has
even used a stepladder to get a high view point so as to record buildings
without distortion. Anyone that dedicated deserves respect.
